About EMDR informed Coaching

EMDR informed coaching is not clinical therapy. It blends EMDR-based tools with a coaching approach to help clients feel more regulated, confident, and focused, without crossing into clinical trauma treatment. The goal is personal growth, mindset shifts, performance, resilience, and reducing everyday stress.

It incorporates adapted EMDR tools (like bilateral stimulation, resourcing, grounding, and nervous-system regulation) to help clients move toward goals rather than exploring or healing complex past trauma.

EMDR-informed strategies are used to improve clarity, calmness, and emotional flexibility. As a psychotherapist, EMDR-certified practitioner and coach, should any challenging issues arise in the work, Amanda is both qualified and able to support you.

MOMENTUM in the workplace

A 6-Week EMDR-Informed Therapeutic Coaching Programme

A bespoke coaching experience for high-functioning professionals and entrepreneurs who feel internally stuck.

This course is designed to support those experiencing burnout or feeling overwhelmed by work demands, or to help you prepare for big work events such as a presentation or a promotion interview.

The Momentum programme is a 6-week EMDR-informed therapeutic coaching programme for motivated individuals who feel stuck despite insight. It bridges the depth of psychotherapy with the forward motion of coaching, supporting sustainable transformation rather than surface-level change.

Who This Programme Is For

Momentum is for professionals and entrepreneurs who maybe understand their patterns intellectually, yet still experience emotional blocks, reactivity, or self-doubt.

The Core Offer

A structured one-to-one coaching journey integrates coaching skills, EMDR principles and neuroscience-informed tools that support change, confidence and growth.

What EMDR-informed coaching is:

  • Future-focused, looking at goals, hopes and ambitions
  • Goal-oriented rather than problem-led
  • Time-limited and structured
  • Has a gentle focus on the past. Often working with past memories, not trauma-based like traditional EMDR therapy.

What this approach isn’t:

  • It is not trauma therapy
  • It does not replace mental health support
  • It is not for those in crisis

Phase 1: Clarify Goals, Identify Blocks and Strengthen Inner Resources

Building a relationship and a safe container for the work. Strengthening internal resources to support deeper work and change.

Phase 2: Reprocessing Blocks using EMDR techniques

Identifying and gently reprocessing limiting beliefs that drive emotional triggers and self-sabotage using EMDR-informed approaches.

Phase 3: Future Template & Embodied Action

Using EMDR processing to install adaptive beliefs and rehearse regulated responses aligned with values and goals.

Phase 4: Integration & Sustainable Change

Consolidating progress, strengthening resilience, and embedding tools for long-term self-leadership.

  • Discovery pack to focus on goals and purpose before the first session.
  • 6-week EMDR informed coaching programme.
  • 60-minute individual sessions fortnightly
